TKit 1.0.0
Stablereleased this
2026-10-20 14:54:58 +02:00 | 6 commits to main since this releaseTKit has been rewritten from the ground up in Rust: faster, lighter, and installed just for your account (no administrator rights needed). Your settings, mappings and history are imported on first start; you only need to connect Twitch once more.
Added
- Kick support: connect Twitch, Kick or both; every category switch updates all connected channels. Kick categories are matched by name, with a per-category choice in the mapping editor when Kick names a game differently
- Game recognition: installed Steam, Epic, GOG, Ubisoft, EA, Battle.net and Xbox games are recognized to suggest the right category (applied automatically by default; switch it off in Settings to be asked instead)
- "Keep the game's category while it runs": alt-tabbing out of a game no longer switches away; the fallback comes when the game exits
- Color themes: Classic, Twitch (purple) and Kick (green), under Settings → Theme
- Community mappings and the ignored-programs list sync incrementally and are checksummed
- Signed updates from git.evobug.com: every update is checksummed and signature-checked before it is installed
Changed
- Closing a game now switches to the fallback category (e.g. Just Chatting) even when a browser, Steam or Discord is in front
- Window title changes (e.g. a game showing its level) no longer restart the switch delay
- The installer is per-user; the old install in Program Files is removed (Windows asks once; TKit offers it again if you declined)
Fixed
- Auto-start of monitoring and auto-sync of mappings on app start now follow their settings
